Endodontic Treatment (Root Canal Therapy)

We carry out treatment to save natural teeth, often referred to as “root canal therapy”.

Our dentist, Joanne Giddy, has a special interest in endodontic treatment.  She carries out a full range of surgical and non-surgical endodontic treatments, including re-treatment (where previous root canal therapy hasn’t worked for you).

We pride ourselves on our care and quality of treatment – over the years we have successfully saved many teeth for our patients.  Joanne Giddy’s survival rates for teeth that she treats are high, with 87% of teeth surviving for at least 10 years (our own 2017 audit data).

Our aim is to:

Save teeth with the best possible endodontic treatment.

Make your comfort and well-being our priority from your first contact right through to your aftercare.

Maintain a healthy mouth so that: i) your root-treated tooth lasts a long time and ii) you’ll be less likely to need root canal treatment on your other teeth.
